Who we are
First Colony Notary is a mobile notary service for Suffolk, Virginia and Hampton Roads, operated by Realize America LLC. When this policy says "we," that is who it means. You can reach us anytime at firstcolonynotary@gmail.com.
What we collect
Only what you give us. When you send the booking form or book a visit on the calendar, that is your name, phone number, email address, the address where we meet you, and whatever you tell us about the signing. If you email us, we have what you wrote. That is the list.
This website has no user accounts and takes no payment information. We do not buy data about you from anyone.
What we use it for
To do the job you asked about: answering your request, scheduling the visit, sending your confirmation and appointment reminders, and following up if you asked a question and we have not connected yet. Follow-up emails have an unsubscribe link, and 1 click stops them.
Who handles it along the way
A few service companies run the plumbing for us: the company that hosts this website, the company that delivers our email, and the scheduling system that keeps our calendar and contact records. They process your information only to provide those services to us.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not hand it to advertisers. The only other time it would leave us is if the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not run advertising trackers and does not set marketing cookies. It is a website about a notary service, not a data business.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it to serve you and to keep the business records the law expects us to keep. If you want your contact information deleted from our records, email us and ask. We will confirm when it is done.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date at the top.
